Pack Your Makeup Bag

Posted in

Do you love to travel? Well, packing becomes a big deal whenever the travel bug bites you. If you are travelling with kids, it becomes all the more difficult. When we are packing we usually go by the “first things first” rule. Most of the time, packing these “first things” makes me exhausted. I somehow manage to pack my make up bag in the last minute. The result : I forget things!

To avoid such mishaps, it’s a good thing if you keep a list handy before you start packing your makeup kit.
How much you bring with you depends on the length of stay. If it’s just a day or two, you can get by with a small eye shadow compact, mascara and liner, in addition to some of your daily face makeup.
A longer stay may mean bringing a larger portion of makeup.

Things to take:

  • Any face moisturizers and soaps that you think you might need on a daily basis.

  • Powders and foundations (only one of each to save space).

  •  Eye shadows. (How many you bring depends on how often you plan on doing different looks. )

  • Mascara,

  •  Eye liner.

  • Lipstick and lip gloss. Lip liner if you use that.

Other essentials you can’t forget:

  • Hair brushes and combs.
  • Travel size shampoo and conditioner, just in case.
  • Travel size toothbrush and toothpaste.
  • Hair binders, clips, barrettes, and head bands.
  • Nail clippers and files.

If you are flying remember to put your make up items in a separate Ziploc bag in case you are checking in. It’s always a good idea to carry crème versions of the liquid products to avoid spills.

Have a fun time travelling with your family and don’t forget to look beautiful.
