World Cricket fever has gripped the entire world, and especially my India. The frenzy is so contagious that we are falling victims to its lure. People practice a lot of rituals to make their team win; these lucky rituals can also be termed as silly superstitions.

When the going gets tough and you get out of shape, what do you do? You go to the yoga master hoping for a cure for all your ills. Believing yoga is a magic potion which will make your expanding girth shrink and make you the envy of the neighbourhood overnight. Ok, so not everybody thinks like me. But then I am an optimist and have been trying to lose the baby fat for the last twenty odd years.

Transfers, Boon or Bane?

Being married to a naval officer is like going for a ride on the conveyor belt at the airport. The families are like pieces of luggage which keep on going round and round in circles until the lord and master picks them up and hauls them to their new temporary abode. I say temporary because I have yet to get a permanent home. Most of my naval life has been spent in 'B-Type', 'C- Type' or 'Emergency Accommodations'.
